We have been told by our many customers that GPS devices, MapQuest and Google Maps etc., do not accurately quide a person to our store.
Coming from The Mall and Oxmoor, follow Shelbyville Road going east (away from downtown Louisville) into the heart of Middletown. You're getting close to Middletown when you see the neighborhood of Douglas Hills on your right. Go through the light at Blankenbaker Rd.(on your right you'll see a Republic Bank on a hill). Go past that, go past Mark's Feed Store (restaurant on your right). At N. Madison take a right. Make a left at the first stop light (street sign will say "Main" street). Within less than a block you'll pass the city clock and curve to the right. Make a right into Dolce Vita's parking lot.
Hint: Main Street and Old Shelbyville Rd. are the same street!
Hint: Shelbyville Rd. and Old Shelbyville Rd. are not the same street.
Hint: Don't rely on a GPS or MapQuest to get you here.
If your coming from the Gene Synder, take the Middletown exit and turn onto Shelbyville Rd. heading west (toward Louisville). After the second stop light move into the left lane. You will see Burger King then Porter Paints, Wick's Pizza and PNC Bank on your right. Directly across from PNC bank, turn left onto Old Shelbyville Road. You'll see a sign that reads, "Welcome to Historic Middletown". Dolce Vita Bridal is approximately one mile ahead on the left, across from and just slightly past Middletown City Hall (old historic yellow house with black shutters on your right, has a sign).
We have been told many times that GPS devices, Google Maps and sites like Mapquest do not give clear or accurate directions and often lead people to the Ben Franklin Craft Store (on Shelbyville Rd.) parking lot.
Our street is directly behind the Ben Franklin Craft Store.
